COMPOSITION: Each tablet contains:

Alphachymotrypsin………………….  21 µKatals

(Eq. to Alphachymotrypsin  ……………….4.20 mg)

Excipients: Compressible sugar, Peppermint oil, Magnesium stearate qs. one tablet.

INDICATIONS:

Alphachymotrypsin is an enzymatic anti-inflammatory agent. It is indicated in treatment of post traumatic and/or post operative edemas.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Alphachymotrypsin can be used orally or sub-lingualy

Take orally 2 tablets, three or four times daily, or

Take sub-lingualy 1 tablet, four to six times a day.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Hypersensitivity to any of its ingredient(s). 

PRECAUTIONS:

Due to possibility of vitreous humour loss, chymotrypsin is not recommended in cataract surgery at patients who are under 20 years old. Do not use Alphachymotrypsin for patients who have vitreous humour hypertension and open wound or for congenital cataract patients.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

Not enough is known about the use of chymotrypsin during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
